Our Story

In 1969, Charlie Gentry got his start in the auto glass business, opening a small shop with his extended family. Charlie later shifted his business model to solely a mobile operation continuing to provide quality service to his customers. Throughout the many decades of installing glass, he was noted for being service-oriented and for always having a friendly word with his customers.

Charlie’s tradition of quality customer service continues today with his son Don Gentry. In 1987, Don joined his father in business after graduating with a degree in finance from the University of Memphis. In college, Don enjoyed playing football for the Tigers who he still faithfully supports. Don’s wife and children are firmly rooted in the Memphis area and are active in the community. For a number of years Don’s brother Leigh also was a part of Gentry Glass.

Today, Don is sole owner and delivers on the promise of striving for total customer satisfaction not only for today, but also for the future. The Gentry family has many life-long customers and would like you to be one of them.
